“Mongolia and the Mongols: Past and Present”
Warsaw, October 16‐17, 2023

Dear Colleagues,

The Faculty of Oriental Studies of the University of Warsaw is hosting the 4th International Conference “Mongolia and the Mongols: Past and Present” on October, 16th-17th 2023 at the University of Warsaw, Poland. The conference is organized under the patronage of HE. Ambassador of Mongolia to Poland.
The conference will focus on the history, culture, religion, language, and art of the Mongols, as well as Mongolia’s historical and current political, economic, and global relations, and explore the prospects for the future. The conference will be a platform for discussion on the role and present state of Mongolian studies and their further development. We would be much honoured if you could attend the conference and deliver a paper on a topic of your choice, related to your field of research. Papers can be presented in Mongolian or in English and should not exceed 20 minutes.
The conference fee of 450 zlotys (ca 100 EUR) covers conference materials, lunches, and refreshments during the conference. It does not cover accommodation and travel expenses.
The organizers will provide the participants with a list of recommended hotels. The venue of the conference will be the Faculty of Oriental Studies, University of Warsaw, Tyniecka 15/17, Warsaw, Poland. Papers read at the conference will be published in the Proceedings of the conference.
